Staying at The Steger has been a truly wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by how welcoming everyone has been—both the staff and the other residents made me feel right at home by inviting me to join in on events and daily activities. What really sets The Steger apart is how genuinely the staff care about us. They know everyone by name and take the time to learn exactly what each resident needs. I'm especially impressed with Manny and the amazing activities he plans; there’s so much going on that you could easily stay busy from morning until night! I want to give a heartfelt thank you to the kitchen staff, the housekeepers, and the entire team for their dedication. I am so grateful for the personalized care I’ve received every single day.

Go Steger Go!!!! I want to express my heartfelt appreciation to the staff at Steger Retirement Home for the outstanding care, kindness, and dedication they show every day. A very special thank you to Mamadou, Jean Eric, Sharon, and Shana for their professionalism, warmth, and commitment to making residents feel comfortable and valued. Your hard work truly makes a difference. The kitchen staff also deserve special recognition for consistently preparing amazing food that brings comfort and enjoyment to everyone in the residence. Nadia the head chef, your effort and care are deeply appreciated. And a sincere thank you to Layla for her beautiful smile, compassion, and the genuine kindness she shows while providing service to the residents. Her positive energy brightens the day for so many people. Thank you all for creating such a caring and welcoming environment. Your dedication does not go unnoticed.

From the first moment my father entered the Steger Residence, General Manager Jean-Éric (see photo) and his entire staff were so welcoming! Shaina and Sharon are there to securely greet you with a warm smile and Mamadou is there to address every request. Jasmine and her Personal Touch nursing team ensure my father’s medical needs are all met. Manny organizes various activities to keep the residents active and engaged. Head chef Nadia keeps the menu diverse and healthy with the cooking and serving staff ensuring the meals are delivered on time. Best decision for my father to join the Steger Residence!
