This was the first experience using short time respite service for my father. He was there for 9 days because his caregiver needed surgery and time to heal. When he was picked up he had the same clothes on he left in. He was not showered and did not shave either which is very odd. Very few of his incontinent pants were used which is terrible as he packed them back in his suitcase ugh. I am thankful he was safe however I was hoping the experience would be pleasant for him which he said he won’t return. No tv in short term rooms which would have been nice to know because we could have brought one they mentioned when I was there visiting on the second day.
