Your thoughtful care, came with dignity and respect. Although it has taken me close to a year to write this review after the passing of my mother in law, I know it’s important to give flowers when they are deserved🩷 the entire team at the hospice made the experience gentle, calm, and natural, as weird as that could sound with death. Not knowing what to expect our family was scared, worried, and I’m sure we all felt very out of place. The hospice became our home away from home for the few weeks we were there daily. Not to mention navigating having our newborn by our side while we would visit- the team always ensured that our family had what we needed during the process, and not just materialistic things ither- they held the emotional space, and kindness for our family. When our mother in law did pass- the team stood along the edge of the halls, and there was a moment of peace and silence. They truly made the most difficult moment of my life, the most gentle experience that it could have been comparing to having to deal with such a tragedy in a hospital or home setting. I couldn’t imagine the dedication you all have to your work, and I’m sure I’m speaking for thousands of individuals in our community when I said - Thank you, for all that you do.

It's never easy to lose someone, let alone the heart of the family; Grandma. My Grandma chose to spend her last months at the Hospice and it was such a nice way to be able to spend time with her. She was very well taken care of, you don't have that hospital feeling when you are there, the staff is so lovely, caring, gentle and truly are there because they care. If I am lucky enough to option to chose this Hospice when my time comes, I wouldn't hesitate one bit.

I can’t thank Nipissing Serenity Hospice enough for the exceptional care they provided to my dad during his final days. The compassion and professionalism displayed by everyone there truly made a world of difference for our family. A special shoutout goes to RPN Megan. Your kindness, patience, and dedication were nothing short of extraordinary. Also, a heartfelt apology for my two brothers, Troy and Mark, who, in their grief, seemed to think they were auditioning for a reality dating show. Megan, you’re going to make a great RN! Dad couldn’t be home as he wanted in his final days, but Serenity Hospice was an amazing alternative. I highly recommend. The family of Mark Clarke.
