My mother in law just moved in to Orchard Terrace Retirement. Every one from the UCP to the ED has made this move and transition to the new chapter in her life as smooth as possible. Big thank you to Natalie (EES) and Lisa Paladino for going above and beyond! Also very grateful to the UCPs Ana Marie and Michael to keeping an eye on her and ensuring she is safe, happy and engaged! Thank you all!

My mother Margaret Hayes was there and she passed away there. Many of the staff members came in to see her in her last moments of her life. I can not overstate how amazing and compassionate the staff there are.

My Mom has been living at Orchard Terrace since 2017. When the time came for my mom to make the transition from living independently in her home to assisted living we toured several homes and when my Mom was ready to make the change she chose Orchard Terrace! I was very relieved and had my fingers crossed for awhile because I was impressed right away by the cozy home atmosphere and the friendly staff. It became apparent right away that the staff truly cared for the residents. At first my Mom lived for a year and a bit on the retirement side and then as her needs increased she required Nursing Care. I was nervous about this change but what I also noticed about the staff is that they at times take care of me as well by acknowledging that it is hard for family to be away from their loved ones and so I noticed they also reinforced for me that my Mom would be okay and helped me with also accepting the change. They understand the relationship and stresses that exist between the resident and their family. I am fortunate to live close to the home and am able to visit the home 3 to 4 times a week and consistently observe the kind and loving way they speak and care for the residents. The home is smaller and I feel this really helps to create a family atmosphere for my Mom and myself. I always feel welcome and I and the caregivers enjoy a relationship of mutual respect and appreciation for the part we each play in helping my Mom feel that she belongs and is safe and cared for. I would not hesitate to recommend Orchard Terrace to future residents and their family. I am very thankful.
