My parents resided at Regina Gardens for 2 and 7 years. Throughout their time there, the nurses, PSW's, and support staff consistently demenstrated exceptional care, compassion and dedication. Their commitment to my parents' well-being, right up until their passing, is somthing my family and I deeply appreciate. However, I cannot extend the same praise to the management team - specifically Heather Gates. Following the death of both my parents, there was no outreach, acknowledgement, or expression of condolences from management. Given the length of their stay and the relationships formed over the years, this lack of communication was disappointing and in my view unprofessional.

My experience with Regina Gardens is a positive one. The team of people who is helping and caring for the residents of the home is very good. From the management, program creators, doctor(s) to nurses and personal support workers and other team members who I met or talk too. It is a good feeling that these people are members of the team to help my seriously ill wife. Thank you Bernadette for answering all my anxious questions when I first time visited Regina Gardens. It helped me to calm down.. Last but not least the food is good too! Thank you.

Regina Gardens became my dad’s home until his passing. While he initially resisted the move to long-term care, it turned out to be the best decision for him. Despite his declining health, he was truly happy there, and that brought our family so much comfort. The staff were incredible—kind, compassionate, and loving. They knew the little details about him that made him who he was, and it was clear how much they cared. They weren’t just caregivers; they were an extended family who celebrated his joys and mourned his loss alongside us. To the team at Regina Gardens, thank you for being his family when we couldn’t be there. We will always remember how you changed his life with your love and care. Your kindness meant everything to him and to us.
