FIRST DAY OBSERVATION: It’s an old structure but looks bright, clean and very decent lobby/ interior and no smell. 4th floor is very decent and doesn’t smell MOST IMPORTANT!! SMALL PARKING LOT - but used by both visitors and staff - that makes it challenging. STAFF are helpful/ friendly - very important too!! STREET PARKING is very limited Close to main road/ Highway

My Mom has been at Parkview for 7 weeks now. Don’t be blinded a smaller/older facility, this care home is simply wonderful. The staff - from the nurses, to health care aides to dietary aides - are all amazing. The rec therapists are the heart of this place. The admin is on top of things, and the reception staff are kind and welcoming. All the staff recognize who we are when we come to see our Mom and are so empathetic and caring. I am so grateful for the compassion I’ve received from my Moms nurses, and their support during a difficult time. We know our Mom’s stay won’t be long based on the nature of her illness, however I am so glad we added Parkview to our list of care homes we were considering and that she was able to get a spot here. Parkview will always have a place in my heart. Thank you all.

My mother was a resident here for a year and received excellent care the entire time. When she passed, we were not rushed and staff was very compassionate. Its an older and smaller home but residents receive wonderful care, and have daily things they can do, eg.bingo. Kristen was particularly excellent to deal with. Thanks for your compassion and care of our mother Parkview 3rd floor staff
