We had a sudden, unexpected need for round-the-clock home care, and words cannot describe how grateful we are to April and her team at Prime Home Health for stepping in to help us manage this crisis. The front line staff have been incredible - treating all of us like family members and always going above and beyond. I recommend them without hesitation, and will be forever grateful to April and her team!

Our journey with Parkison’s Disease has been a challenge! Learning and accepting the illness was challenged by hospitalizations and endless ups and downs in ability to stay independent. Attending U-Turn programming helped us understand the importance of exercise in Parkinson’s Disease. Unfortunately, the disease advanced more rapidly than desired. We were accepted into the programing at the Prime Program at Deer Lodge Centre and the attention to my husband’s care, the compassion and support to myself, and the programming offered to my husband has been a huge help. At the same time, the burden of care at home was increasing. As a wife and partner, I resisted Home Care and/or The Self and Family Managed Care program for so long. Now knowing how amazing it is and how much it has given me ability to have some time for myself I wish I had done it sooner! The whole process was easy, and they were able to accommodate the hours and times I requested. The two individuals we have coming are caring, hard working and go above and beyond what I would ever expect! My husband is their priority, and they help shower and dress him as well and look after his meals, snacks, and medications. They massage his legs and feet with lotion and visit with him. My husband says they do a better job than me in his daily care😊 Eventually I will have them do some light physio with him and as the weather warms go out with him out for walks My husband does watch a lot of TV so during that time they sweep and mop my floor, vacuum, laundry, dusting, wash his bedding ,they look for anything that can be done and just do it. Additionally, my husband has developed anxiety as he loses his independence. He has easily accepted the care in our home, and he feels safe in their care. What this has meant for me is an opportunity to do somethings I enjoy. Going for walks, watching the grandkids sports, and having time for friends. Having time to just think and not aways be rushing has done so much for my physical and mental health. It has also allowed me to have more patience with my husband, and I have more energy to care for him on days where we do not have help or attend Prime at Deer Lodge Centre. So Grateful, B and G P

The support of Prime was invaluable to my dad and our family. The empathy, friendliness and overall care of the staff is much appreciated. I highly recommend their services to anyone who is needed care and support.
