My friend is there. I’m always impressed when I visit, some days even more than others. My friend is more aware, and younger, than many and is contentish. It’s clean, bright, semi private rooms are still private, and the jet tub seems particularly popular. Everyone, staff included, seems happy. For example, a girl serving meals broke into song and dance with the music playing as the residents were coming into supper which absolutely made everyone’s evening. So many smiles. I’m not a fan of the call bell system as the beeps can drive me to eye twitches if it goes on too long (and it happens, they can get lots of needs at once). I also struggle with some of the ways the staff are spoken to by a few residents. The grace they all handle that with is impressive.
