I have been waiting for my reimbursement for five months now. They never answer the phone or return a voicemail. I have no idea how to contact them at this point. At halton we received our funds in a month but here its been five months and reply.

Unfortunately, my experience with Special Services At Home has been very frustrating. They almost never answer the phone or emails. I leave them voice messages and they never get back to me. I even resorted to sending a letter to their executive director and I never received a response from them. Their processing time is two months (and longer) while they promise families and caregivers a processing time of one month. In the meantime, families have to spend hundreds of dollars towards respite or homecare for their children and wait two months or longer to get reimbursed. They drag families along to beg for a reimbursement which is very humiliating and degrading.
