Trico has been wonderful with my father throughout his journey. When he was living on the 7th floor, he was experiencing significant physical and cognitive decline. The staff worked closely with me, and together we made the decision to move him to the dementia care floor, where he received the increased level of support he needed. Today, he is happy, comfortable, and receiving excellent care. Supporting seniors through cognitive and physical decline is never a one-size-fits-all process, and every person's needs are unique. What stood out most to me was Trico's genuine commitment to understanding my father's individual needs and ensuring his care was tailored to his well-being every step of the way. I will always be grateful for the compassion, professionalism, and support they have shown as I live out of province. Knowing my father is safe, cared for, and treated with dignity has meant more than I can express.

10/10 care. This facility has set the new standard for what I think is acceptable in long term care. It’s bright, organized and people are genuinely happy (staff and residents). They have a whole calendar of activities and experiences to keep day to day life enriched and also actively foster community

Thinking of entrusting Trico Living Well with supporting and caring for someone you love? I did; the last two years of my father’s life there were horrific and heartbreaking. My happy, easy-going father was treated abysmally despite escalating pleas (to care staff, to management, and eventually, the ownership) that his Care Plan be followed. An overwhelming majority of the care staff lack the skills and/or the inclination to deliver care even at a nominal level. I ended up visiting every day to give my ol’ dad the care and attention he deserved. From infantilizing, disrespectful interactions to regularly ignoring doctor-ordered dietary restrictions, to medical incompetence in emergencies, Trico Living Well fails on all counts.
