My name is Lisa and my Mom Gretchen S has been living independently at Aspen Woods since May 1/24. Our search for the perfect retirement living arrangement began a few months prior to this and we toured a number of residences before knowing that Aspen was “the” place for her. We owe this decision to friends who recommended Verve to us and later to Joyce V who to this day we are so grateful for. She was absolutely incredible…so kind and informative. Mom went from “Well…maybe one day” to signing on the dotted line only a few short weeks later after a positive experience with the 3-day trial stay. We have never looked back since. Mom settled in relatively quickly in great part to the fabulous staff! Everyone was soo kind to her, taking the time to get to know her and genuinely caring about her well being. Here we are 2 years later and she is doing very well having made new friends and always talking about how fortunate she is to be living there. In her words: “This is home for me, I’m happy here, the staff are so nice and this place is top notch”. A special shout out to DJ who befriended Mom during her time working at Concierge (now a valuable member of the Life Enrichment team). Mom made an immediate connection with her and DJ just brings out so many good things in her, always joking around and keeping Mom’s sense of humour fresh and sharp! Special recognition also goes out to Donna at the front desk who is incredible, all the serving staff who are so, so lovely, the housekeeping ladies, GM Bianca, Cindy and her nursing team, Chef Justin and his team..just everyone! If I’ve missed anyone it isn’t because you aren’t noticed and appreciated each and every day 🙏 I can personally vouch for the high-quality and variety of the food at Aspen as I have dined there with Mom many, many times. The variety and diversity of the life enrichment activities offered at Aspen is unparalleled. In Mom’s words once again: “If you’re bored here, it’s your own fault” 😆 Our family couldn’t be happier that Mom is content and we rest well at night knowing she is loved and cared for. We would 100% recommend Verve Aspen Woods to any family looking to find a a loving living environment for their loved one. Thank you to everyone there for being the special people you are ❤️

My Dad has been a resident at Verve Aspen Woods since May, 2025. As with any Senior that previously lived independently there was an adjustment. Since the day he moved in the staff have very caring and attentive. They really go out of there way to get to know the residents and make them feel comfortable. The few times he's required additional support the Front Desk and Nursing Staff did an excellent job managing his care. The onsight activities keep him busy and engaged. He especially enjoys the live entertainment and the evening movies. Our Family would highly recommend Verve Aspen Woods.

My mother has been a resident at Verve Aspen Woods for three years now and she is very happy there. After a brief 3 week respite stay she decided to move there permanently and she and we, her family, have never looked back. Joyce in particular made the registration and move in process a breeze. Mom enjoys the many activities put on by the friendly and energetic staff and finds meal times an enjoyable social event. She finds the meals excellent and healthy. I can vouch for the quality of the meals as well since I have eaten in the dining room many times. One thing my mom and my family really appreciate is the private kitchen and dining room that can be reserved for family celebrations. We have done this many times. You can bring in your own meals or have it catered and served by the staff just like in a restaurant. My mom's room is spacious and well cleaned by the staff daily. I really can't say enough good things about Verve Aspen Woods. I recommend it highly and I know mom does too.
