  Moving our mother out of her family home was an extremely difficult decision. My mom had a lot of fear and anxiety and my sister and I questioned if we were doing the right thing. Six weeks later we now know it was the best decision ever made. The staff are amazing at Verve Aspen Woods, they also do their best to help their new residents settle in and become part of the community. The dining is also top notch- no institutionalized meals at Verve- very high end four course meals made to order with lots of variety and choices for the residents. Our mom is doing so much better, has made new friends and looks amazing. Everyone who lives at Verve Aspen Woods will tell you that they love living there. Don't put it off.....take the leap, Nicole and the staff will help you through the process.

  I can honestly say the the staff has the best intentions and do the extra effort to make the residents stay a pleasant one. The facility is clean, neat and managed well. My father has been in residence 7 months and any issues that have arrived have been dealt with promptly. Activities are good and well scheduled. Meals / servers deserve extra points. I've tried it and I liked it. Knowing hes being cared for correctly has taken a lot of pressure off the family.

  My name is Lisa and my Mom Gretchen S has been living independently at Aspen Woods since May 1/24. Our search for the perfect retirement living arrangement began a few months prior to this and we toured a number of residences before knowing that Aspen was “the” place for her. We owe this decision to friends who recommended Verve to us and later to Joyce V who to this day we are so grateful for. She was absolutely incredible…so kind and informative. Mom went from “Well…maybe one day” to signing on the dotted line only a few short weeks later after a positive experience with the 3-day trial stay. We have never looked back since. Mom settled in relatively quickly in great part to the fabulous staff! Everyone was soo kind to her, taking the time to get to know her and genuinely caring about her well being. Here we are 2 years later and she is doing very well having made new friends and always talking about how fortunate she is to be living there. In her words: “This is home for me, I’m happy here, the staff are so nice and this place is top notch”. A special shout out to DJ who befriended Mom during her time working at Concierge (now a valuable member of the Life Enrichment team). Mom made an immediate connection with her and DJ just brings out so many good things in her, always joking around and keeping Mom’s sense of humour fresh and sharp! Special recognition also goes out to Donna at the front desk who is incredible, all the serving staff who are so, so lovely, the housekeeping ladies, GM Bianca, Cindy and her nursing team, Chef Justin and his team..just everyone! If I’ve missed anyone it isn’t because you aren’t noticed and appreciated each and every day 🙏 I can personally vouch for the high-quality and variety of the food at Aspen as I have dined there with Mom many, many times. The variety and diversity of the life enrichment activities offered at Aspen is unparalleled. In Mom’s words once again: “If you’re bored here, it’s your own fault” 😆 Our family couldn’t be happier that Mom is content and we rest well at night knowing she is loved and cared for. We would 100% recommend Verve Aspen Woods to any family looking to find a a loving living environment for their loved one. Thank you to everyone there for being the special people you are ❤️
