Lindsay Parry was a pleasure to work with . She was kind, patient and very knowledgeable about Wellings. I felt right at home as soon as she started to show us around. She solved several problems for me and was always ready to answer my questions. Truly a lovely person to handle this stress of moving, Wellings is so lucky to call her an employee. 5 stars! Finding the perfect place for my 91-year-old mom felt like an impossible task, until we discovered Wellings of Calgary. From the moment we walked in, we knew it was something special. The surroundings are not only beautiful, but thoughtfully designed to feel both elegant and personal, exactly the kind of environment my mom loves. She’s independent, social, and loves to be pampered, and Wellings checks all the boxes: There are a variety of beautiful floor plans, from studios to spacious three-bedroom suites, all with floor-to-ceiling windows offering stunning views of the downtown skyline or mountains, Paskapoo Slopes, and the river valley. Her well-appointed full kitchen gives her the freedom to cook when she wants to, while a generous monthly food credit means she can also enjoy delicious, chef-prepared meals or snacks morning, noon or night in the bistro or one of the dining room whenever she feels like dining out. The on-site fitness centre will help her stay active, and a full beauty salon is opening soon. The 24-hour concierge provides both of us with peace of mind, and the convenient +15 connection to Save-On-Foods makes grocery shopping a breeze. There’s also a cozy media room and a lively pub on the way, perfect for socializing or relaxing. Speaking of family, kids, grandkids, and friends are always welcome. There’s even a gorgeous private dining room and a separate spacious gathering area available for residents to use when hosting guests. But what truly sets Wellings apart is the community. My mom has found a circle of like-minded, vibrant seniors who enjoy great conversation, staying active, and yes, a glass of wine with new friends. This isn’t your grandma’s retirement home, it’s a place to thrive and live life on your own terms. Thank you, Wellings of Calgary, for giving my mom a place that truly feels like home.
