  My parents moved to Westwood 2 years ago, there was some apprehension moving from their house but that didn't last long as the staff and residence sure made them feel welcome. My parents chose the Westwood as it has a warm and cozy feel, the bonus surprise was how great the people are. The building is always spotless and the food is truly amazing, we enjoyed many family dinners in the special dining room. Sadly my parents require a new level of health care and they must move, it is so nice they treated themselves to 2 years of 5 start resort style living. Thank you Samantha, Kerri, Christie, Gaylayne and all the wonderful staff.

  My name Is Brian Sweeney I've been a resident of Westwood Regency since December 2023. I was a living in Whitehorse Yukon My age was 78 yrs old When due to 2 spinal cord operations my life was turned upside down forcing me to leave the north and relocate. I chose the Kelowna area as my family lived there. My children visited 5 retirement homes in the Kelowna and West Kelowna area. Westwood Regency was the first and only home I visited. Having never been familiar with retirement complex's I was not sure what I was going to see. My children took me on a tour prior to introducing me to the Marketing Manager. As they showed me through the place I was surprised at the amount of activities that were provided to the residents. I asked a few of the residents there opinions of The Meals, Activities, cleanliness and the staff. The feedback was almost unanimous that they were very happy living here. They felt cared for and added that management was easy to approach on almost any issue residents may have. By the time I met the Marketing Manager I was thinking that I might not visit the other resorts but I was't making any decisions yet. My meeting with the marketing manager was more than qualified in answering some of the concerns that I had and was very easy to talk to. She gave me the history of the corporation and their commitment to high standards of excellence that I had witnessed in my initial visit Not once have I regretted my decision to relocate from my home in Whitehorse to Westwood.   My dad lived at Westwood for seven years, and despite being a very challenging resident at times, he was consistently treated with respect, patience, and genuine care. The staff made him feel like one of the most important members of the community, and that level of attention extended to everyone who lives there. It’s clear that Westwood fosters an environment where every resident feels valued and respected. The staff are exceptional, the residents are welcoming, and there is a strong sense of community throughout. Simply put, this is a truly happy place.
