I visited the Co-op medical supply center with the expectation of receiving knowledgeable assistance, especially given it specializes in pharmaceuticals not found in regular pharmacies. However, my experience was disappointing. Despite the presence of two staff members, one at the register and another doing paperwork, I was completely ignored at the counter for a significant amount of time. When I finally inquired about product locations, I was simply directed to the shelves. Finding myself overwhelmed by the selection, I requested help, but the only assistance offered was the requirement of a specific model number. This felt unhelpful, as I was seeking guidance in choosing a suitable product, not just ordering a pre-determined one. It seems Co-op Health operates more like an order desk, rather than a supportive resource. The contrast with the helpfulness of other departments, like the meat counter, is stark. My attempt to address this with head office went unanswered, which is disheartening and reinforces the trend towards online shopping, despite my preference for supporting local businesses.

I'm honestly extremely disappointed in the service. If I could do 0 stars I would. My child was approved for AADL, and they didn't have any samples, let alone products in stock. They asked what size and I said 5T-6T pullup is what she wears and they wanted a S M or L answer. When they finally found something, I was told because I didn't pick them up on the approval date, I was getting less than the approved amount, I loaded the stroller with the boxes of something they found, which was a diaper and not a pullup, only to be told I could get over the amount and pay the difference or get less because they don't split boxes. Once that was all said and done, I accepted less because I can't afford the cost, they told me their product was twice the allotted amount and I was being charged for the difference. I had to unload the boxes and they said I had to go elsewhere. They said they would provide me a list of the other suppliers with products in that range, and then just ended up saying google it.

Had to pre-order some compression socks. When I wore them the first day I realized they were two different sizes. I took them back to the store and they would not refund me my money. They were really expensive!!!! The staff stated they would have to talk to the supplier. I still have heard nothing from them and do not have a refund. I am an older student who cannot afford another pair because of their mistake. Go somewhere else for your supplies!!!
