National Seating and Mobility has much lower prices on wheelchairs and stairlifts. Lawtons has much lower prices on home healthcare products. Both have far better customer service.

Dawn at the Halifax store is cold, heartless, and rude. Trying to attempt to contact regarding a wheelchair for my father who is palliative with 1-2 weeks left. Instead of trying to help, she was going on about OT referral and was unwilling to try to help with any other means of doing this. For someone in this field, she should be ashamed. Dealing with cancer patients in palliative situations requires some compassion- it's clear she has none. Horrible company

Absolutely the worst company going! My husband’s electric wheelchair ( 1 1/2 years old) started stopping and shutting off on our walks. We contacted our equipment person on June 23rd. He contacted the company but was going on vacation for two weeks ( obviously people in your company don’t cover for each other). When he returned he stated the company didn’t know what the issue would be so it would need to go to Halifax to Harding. We had his old electric chair so we needed to get new batteries and hope he could use that while awaiting ( he had a massive stroke and depends solely on his electric chair). We had to call and give our credit card for $700+ before the batteries could be ordered?? A few weeks later up came the tech, but the batteries were the wrong ones! Another two weeks he came again, batteries the wrong ones…..how is this possible!! Today is September 3rd, tech coming today with new batteries for old chair and will take new chair to Halifax…..possibly!! My husband waits for summer to get for walks, but missed it all, the entire summer!! Quick to take our money, but don’t know what batteries the chair required….seriously!! We were told immediately the repair wouldn’t be covered….1 1/2 year old chair!! These are people with life changing issues you are catering too, but it is obvious MONEY is all that matters!! Absolutely unreal, very sad to treat those with disabilities this way 😡
