Darren at Independent Living has been very helpful with our bath seat, including contacting the manufacturer. Darren was quick to address our issue at no cost to us, ensuring that we received good quality service. Darren is an excellent people person dealing with individual needs, and I have no problem recommending him as 5-star plus. For seniors’ and disabled equipment he is the person to talk to.

Darren has owned and operated Independent Abilities for over 15 years, after a career in health and safety. The store carries a huge range of mobility and medical equipment. Darren has an intimate knowledge of assistive equipment and the medical system, and helped to answer questions that we didn't even know we had. Highly recommend Darren and Independent Abilities to help to assess and understand options available. He graciously helped me to manage my anxieties and confusion and even adjusted the walker I came in with free of change. Thanks, Darren, for providing such an invaluable service to the community!
