I had an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience with McLeod Optometry. They billed my dad for an eye exam in December that he never even attended. This was not a simple pre-authorization — they actually processed the billing, which is completely unacceptable. My dad had already canceled the appointment, yet somehow the charge still went through. Because of this mistake, we couldn’t go to another clinic since the claim had already been used. I then had to spend hours calling multiple clinics across Calgary and contacting Alberta Blue Cross just to figure out where the billing came from and how to fix it. It was a huge waste of time and incredibly stressful. What made it worse is that when I contacted them twice in a day and didn’t say anything about the billing they did for my dad is December, I had to request the cancellation even though I asked for it when I cancel the appointment , there was no proper apology or accountability. This situation could have been easily avoided if they handled cancellations correctly and professionally. Billing a patient for a service that never happened is not just careless — it creates unnecessary problems and stress for families trying to access care. I would not recommend this clinic based on this experience.

Visiting Dr. Singh's shop is a pleasure. I felt welcome from the moment I walk in. His manner is calm and positive, and is very effective.

Really happy with my visit to Macleod Optometry. Dr. Sunny was friendly, informative, and made the whole exam feel quick yet thorough. The staff helped me find a pair of glasses and the whole experience was smooth from start to finish. Highly recommend!
