Not really happy with the service as a new user. I started with a mask, the RT who provided instructions seemed rushed, declined to help me set up the straps of my mask to fit my head when I asked stating I needed to have the machine on and I guess that was not an option in this appointment I was told to leave the head and forehead straps alone and adjust the chin ones only I could not get the straps around my head when I tried st home so “leaving them” really was not an option 🤨.She measured the size of my mask by placing a cardboard cutout about a foot from my face and guessed that I wore a medium , stating she had a skill in choosing the right size I struggled with the mask fit even educating myself with several online tutorials I tried for about two weeks recognizing it does take some time to get use to.wearing a mask It continued to leak air at the top making my eyes water and the seal was inconsistent I returned to Proresp with my concerns and kudos to the receptionist who did her best to help me to adjust the straps I did question the size but was assured it was the right size At this time I requested to maybe try the nasal pillows I returned the mask and they provide the nasal pillows at no cost. I Tried the nasal pillows again I struggled with getting a good fit with the straps at max it was tight and the pillows bent my nose up uncomfortably I tried for a few days but my nose was irritated and sore I decided to go back to the mask as it did not hurt my nostrils Prorest was now willing to sell me a new mask as the offer to swap out the mask was limited to 1 which I had already done The.cost now to me was $225 for a new mask as this seemed a bit pricy I looked for other options online. . I was able to purchase the same mask online at a Canadian CPAP company ,delivered to my door, in 1 day at a cost of only 135.00 When online I followed the sizing instructions and discovered my size was small and not medium. I purchase the right size and it works well no more air leaks, the strap fits nicely, eyes are not being blasted by air I felt unsupported and the RT not helpful, her knowledge of the product was minimal I would recommend the following Maybe a two week grace period to try the one swap out before discarding the first mask I would have taken back the original mask or at least paid a fee to hold it temporarily while I tried option In my situation the size was wrong so I would have required a new mask anyway but not the headgear . think there should be more support with mask fitting in the initial appointment if requested and a different more reliable method be used for sizing I t might be also good in the company’s best interest to have competitive pricing .A 90 dollar difference is significant While Reception was outstanding , I unfortunately I would never recommend this company for first time users
