  My dad and I met with a few downsizing services and chose Susan (Downsizing Moms & Dads). Best decision we could’ve made. She made the whole process way less overwhelming, and my dad’s house sold quickly. She not only got the house cleaned out and ready to list in no time, but also connected us with a reseller who helped us easily sell all the tools in the garage. We’ll definitely be using her again to coordinate my dad’s next move.

  Hearing about Susan Pointe’s work, was a god send. After moving my Mom to a Seniors’ facility, we were drooping in energy but faced the challenge of finding buyers for my Mom’s beautiful furniture, silverware, china, crystal, quilts, sewing machines, art, vintage items and a myriad of other household items from a 3 bedroom 3 bath home. Susan not only helped us downsize the sellable items but she saw through the remaining donations and organized a garage door repair and house cleaning readying for the sale of the home. The realestate agent was thrilled.

  Dear Susan It was great seeing you. We are excited for you and your new business, Downsizing Moms & Dads. If only we had heard about your services a month or two ago. Last week, we moved Mom from Pender Island to Victoria, BC. The amount of furniture, dishware, artwork, linens, books, photo albums, pottery and kitchenware she had amassed was impressive, and it included some truly lovely things, and some pieces of special personal significance. Then we realized we would be moving it, all of it, and we were astonished. Getting it all organized, packed, labeled, and into one moving van, with one professional mover took more time and effort than we would have thought imaginable. Mom said she had been working on downsizing, but there was still just so much… stuff. It was bewildering, and at times disheartening. As luck would have it, we got it done, and with only one crushed box of stemware casualties. Had we known your services were available, I could only dream of how much easier it would have been. We won’t be moving Mom again any time soon – she has landed softly, and she loves where she is – but if we do move her again, we have your card in a special spot. Thank you, Susan.
