l The lady on the far left at the physio reception desk was extremely rude. I arrived for my appointment right on time and entered through the handicap-accessible door because I am currently wearing a neck brace. I was not there for the minor treatment program, so I was not going to stand in line with people taking numbers for that service. As my sister and I entered, she told us that the door was for staff only. However, there was no sign indicating that it was staff only, and it is located beside a wheelchair ramp, which made it appear to be an accessible entrance for patients as well. I was not attempting to enter early — it was exactly 7:00 o’clock when the clinic opened. After going upstairs, I overheard her speaking to the two other receptionists on the right side, bragging about “fighting with people downstairs.” She stopped talking once she noticed us walk in. She also spoke to the physiotherapist in a way that made it seem like we had arrived early, which was not true. Again, it was exactly 7:00 a.m. I am simply not going to stand in a crowded line for minor treatment while wearing a neck brace when I was attending a physiotherapy appointment upstairs. I found her behavior very unprofessional. That said, this does not reflect on the physiotherapists, who are great, or the other two receptionists, who were very kind and professional. My issue is specifically with the receptionist on the far left.

I've done a lot of physiotherapy over the years, including in the US where I had access to some of the best. But I highly, highly recommend Jackie Marchylo. The appointments aren't very long, but her ability to diagnose issues and come up with a program to address them is absolutely incredible. I have seen rapid rapid improvement with a slipped disc, torn ACL and torn hamstring.

Unbelievably horrible experience with the front desk. Tuesday I got a call that my appointment was cancelled as the Physio was sick . No problem I said I think I have another appointment coming up. This morning I called as I was sick myself - and needed to cancel and the front desk full on argued and got really angry with with me when I mentioned I usually get a reminder call and I didn’t . She was extremely rude to the point that I won’t even rebook. I’ve been to other physios on the city they are way nicer and treat their clients better. She also argued saying I cancelled the Tuesday appointment ! It was not me who cancelled this appointment they called me because the physiotherapist was sick. I’m actually in shock that this is how they speak to clients! I’ve never been spoken to that way by a clinic before. Physio herself Jacquie was great at our first appointment this is not a reflection of her services.
