About

Strathcona Foot and Ankle Clinic is a podiatry practice in Edmonton specializing in foot and ankle disorders. Both podiatrists are licensed surgical specialists who diagnose and treat conditions ranging from skin and nail problems to complex orthopedic issues.

Senior Care Path Summary

Strathcona Foot and Ankle Clinic has served Edmonton's Strathcona district since 2006, located in the Strathcona Health Centre near Whyte Avenue and the University of Alberta. Both podiatrists hold doctoral degrees in podiatric medicine and have completed surgical residencies at Carney Hospital in Boston, giving them advanced training to handle both routine and complex foot and ankle conditions common in aging.

The clinic treats many conditions particularly relevant to seniors, including diabetes-related foot problems, heel pain and plantar fasciitis, arthritis, foot fractures, and bunions. Services include custom foot orthotics (often helpful for seniors with mobility issues), routine foot care, and in-office surgical procedures for appropriate cases. The clinic also provides conservative treatment options to help delay or prevent more invasive surgery when possible.

The clinic is located in a health centre building, though specific accessibility details (parking, wheelchair access) are not stated on the website. Appointments are available weekdays and some Saturday hours, though extended Saturday availability may be limited.

Best doctor visit I’ve had in 11 years of living in Canada — no exaggeration. Came in to see Dr. Artur for an ingrown toenail and he actually stayed after hours to make sure the procedure got done that same day. That alone says everything about the kind of person he is. Quick, clean, professional — but also warm and genuinely fun to talk to. Great advice, great stories, zero stress. The clinic is spotless, staff are welcoming, and parking is easy. On top of all that, he gives patients a direct line to reach him after hours for any questions or concerns. You just don’t find that anymore. Absolute gem of a doctor. Highly recommend Strathcona Foot & Ankle Clinic to anyone in Edmonton.

A 5 star review doesn’t give enough justice for Dr. K’s service. He goes above and beyond when it comes to healing and caring for his patients. Dr. K is thorough, compassionate and very humanitarian. He’s the type of doctor who will take his time to sit and listen with you and assess you thoroughly. He gives suggestions/advice on how to take care of your overall health and well-being not just your feet. I never had a doctor like him. He inspires me to be better and give back the same kindness and compassion. I am beyond grateful for everything. It’s rare to find a doctor like him these days. I most definitely highly recommend Dr. Artur Kruszelnicki as podiatrist.

Don’t let the smaller office in an older Building deter you, because he is honestly the best Podiatrist I have ever been to. I have been to five different podiatrist over the last few years in Edmonton, and Dr. Artur Kruszelnicki is by far the best. I have anxiety, and he is great for people with anxiety. I seen him for an appointment, I did not feel rushed, he took his time, answered every single one of my questions, and I had a lot of them, he explained everything to me in a way I could understand. My appointment I had with him was worth every penny. He will definitely be the Podiatrist and the only Podiatrist I see from here on out, including my children and husband as well. If you’re looking for a really good Podiatrist that is gentle, sympathetic, caring, talented and informative then you’re definitely going to want to see him.
