Mr. Build Metro Vancouver has served the west side of Vancouver since 1989 as a full-service residential and strata renovation contractor. They handle bathroom renovations that cover bathtub and shower installation, tile work, vanities, and accessibility features including grab bars, which can support aging in place.
The company manages all phases of bathroom work from demolition through final installation. They provide transparent estimates and work to keep projects on schedule and within budget, with a stated commitment to clear communication throughout the renovation process.
While their website emphasizes modern bathroom design and general home improvements, they do not specifically highlight walk-in tubs, accessible showers, or senior-focused expertise. For seniors considering bathroom modifications, contacting them directly about accessibility needs would be necessary to confirm their experience and capabilities in aging-in-place renovations.

I had a wonderful experience with Kurt and Ali from Mr. Build, and I recommend them highly. We hired them to do some renovation around a closet to open it up and make it more accessible, and Ali did an amazing job. The owner (Kurt) met with me originally to discuss the project and even stopped by to check on progress while it was underway, which to me says a lot about attention to detail and providing great quality. Ali was thorough, talked me through what he was doing to ensure it was what we wanted, and left everything spotless afterwards. We are very happy with the finished result.

If you want things done right, call Mr. Build. No cutting corners, no compromises, built to last. Super knowledgeable staff with decades of experience and up to date on the most recent tech. Careful and respectful of our residence, would trust them again.

Kurt, Dennis and team were great to work with. We hired them to install a new tub and tiles in our bathroom and ended up getting them to do extra work in our kitchen (tiles, plumbing) and spare room (new ceiling/pot lights). We thought we could do the extra work ourselves and I’m glad we didn’t! Quality workmanship. Good communication and pricing. Will hire them again.
