  My best friend has been at Arabella for almost 2 years. she is very social and Arabella ended up being the PERFECT home for her. The care is personal. All the PSW’s show her kindness and are always there for her. The manager, Josh, is friendly, very involved and has that kind of personality that enables the residents to easily approach him. The head nurse, Brett, is always knowledgeable and helpful and you always know when she’s around because you hear residents responding (and smiling) to her saying “how are you doing” or “good morning” always addressing them by name. This is personal. This is care. She really truly cares and my friend says “you can talk to her about any problem you may be having” Josh and Brett and Tamika? (I hope I spelled correctly) and the whole team creates an atmosphere of kindness and concern and fun and there never seems to be a dull moment. My friend loves it there and believe me when I say, we pursued every other retirement home in the area and Arabella came in 1st place in all categories. so thank you for giving her such quality of life.

  Arabella has been an outstanding support for our family, particularly in navigating the complexities that come with aging parents and evolving care needs. The professionalism, consistency, and genuine compassion shown by the wellness leadership team, led by Brett Buxton, RPN, have made an enormous difference in our parents’ quality of life and in our peace of mind as a family. What stands out most is the exceptional follow-through and continuity of care. Medical concerns are tracked carefully, communication is prompt and reliable, and nothing ever feels overlooked. It is clear that resident wellbeing is taken seriously, not just administratively, but personally. We have especially appreciated the thoughtful coordination surrounding doctor appointments, behavioural challenges, and ongoing health concerns. The attention to detail, calm professionalism, and approachable manner shown throughout every interaction have been remarkable. Families entrust retirement residences with the people they love most.   I met the manager of Arabella retirement home at a local event and really liked how they talked about caring for residents. We had really good conversation and I asked to visit. The place felt clean, warm, and welcoming, and the staff were kind and attentive. I even met my friend’s grandparents there, and they seemed genuinely happy and well taken care of, which meant a lot to see. Overall, it feels like a safe and caring place, and I’d definitely recommend it.
