  I was thankful that my Health at Home case coordinator listened to my concerns and feedback about my initial appointment at Bayshore. And that she arranged for my surgery follow-up care to be transferred to the VON.

  The psws here belittle there clients in a way that should be investigated. Go anywhere for your family's needs except here, unless you want private information, including private photos, about your family member being shared to anyone.

  Bayshore is composed of people who are very passionate about delivering patient-centered care. Bayshore's manager Freddy is amazing and really validates concerns and works to try to accommodate when possible. He's super busy and definitely works off the clock but is dedicated to making sure all patients feel valued and makes himself accessible to family and patients. Bayshore's scheduler Rebecca is very kind and works hard to try to accommodate a family member's schedule with the patient's care schedule. Overall, the PSWs who support my grandfather really care about his health and notice things (I.e wounds, urine colour changes) that are essential for his health. Our favorite PSWs include Marissa, Jennifer, Patricia and Nicole who always goes the extra mile! I think that when dealing with Bayshore, it's important to recognize that our healthcare system is collapsing and regardless of if it's the hopsital, LTC, or homecare, everywhere is understaffed and struggling. Bayshore tries their best to deliver patient- centered care within this collapsing system. If a PSW calls out because they are sick, Bayshore staff coordinators work hard to find a replacement, but it's not always possible. Same with the hospitals that sometimes shuts down because lack of staff! Unfortunately this is the reality with all homecare agencies so persecuting Bayshore for this is unjust. This has only hapenned 1 time to us, usually they manage to secure a replacement. Overall, our experience with Bayshore is that the staff really care and try their best! We are extremely grateful for Bayshore's accommodation to our family situation, and advocacy for services. Thank you Freddy, Rebecca, and all the PSWs working hard everyday!
