This organization is being overtly starved and dismantled by the Ford Government. Multiple caseloads are unfilled. Management burning out staff with endless tasks, bureaucracy, and micromanaging that takes away from client care. Services are being eroded through provincially dictated algorithms that cause coordinators to be handcuffed to provide adequate and quality care. For example, an assessment will provide a number for said algorithm that will dictate how many hours or visits a person gets. Clinical judgement and respect of the assessor by management is nonexistent. Coordinators are seen as grunts to operate an assembly line of "assessments" where people often don't get the care they need. Supplies are being taken away for "cost savings" purposes, and the organization is shifting to a business-centric model where they see clients/patients as numbers. Not people. I was a former coordinator, and my heart hurts for all the families and patients who do not get the care they need and deserve. Therefore, families who have resources have to pay privately for the shortfalls of this agency, which is what the Doug Ford government wants. Delusional Management Delusional Government Burned Out Staff Long Term Care lists are a nightmare. It's Never Enough from management. Contact your local MPP if you feel you're not getting the service you require. However, with the Ford Government, I doubt they'll care much. Vote for your interests people, because this will only get worse if the OPC stay in power.

We are very fortunate to have Care Coordinator Scott O. as the coordinator for my grandpa. Scott validates our concerns and responds to our voicemails in a timely way. Scott is very kind and recognizes that being a caregiver can be hard. It is apparent that he really cares about his patients, and it's nice to feel heard and understood. I know a few other people who also have Scott and speak very highly of him, so when he was assigned to my grandfather's case, I knew we were in good hands. When Scott did a home visit to do an assessment on my grandpa, he was so down to earth and easy to speak to. He's just overall a kind, likeable person who really cares. Thank you so much Scott for all of your help!!!!

Amber Babcock NP and nurses took very good palliative care of my 94 year old Mom Joyce Milner. Very kind and compassionate with Mom and rest of family. Thank you.
