Today is my last day at bayshore after 3.5 years of service in Bayshore as an employee. The unfair and unprofessional performance of the current management has resulted in my resignation. The mental pressure given to the employees by the management even resulted in the formation of the recent union, which proves how good the current management is.

A parent of mine had an appointment today. The worker never showed up after approximately 35 minutes. Apparently the worked called in sick, but we were never notified. This is unacceptable in every way. With my parent waiting patiently a good part of the day. Communication was terrible. No wonder Bayshore is looking for workers.

The PSWs are great and work hard but I really think that Bayshore staff and especially after-hours staff needs to give their head a shake. I have realized the reason that Bayshore Homecare makes such a huge profit it's due to the fact after 4:30 your pretty much on your own no matter what. Sure you can hit 1 if it's urgent but don't expect these people to pick up the phone sure can leave a voicemail don't expect that to be returned either. If your lucky and they do answer he prepared for them to say that has nothing to do with me sorry you try again has nothing to do with me doesn't bother looking on their computer to find out they don't ask anything else just say it has nothing to do with me the end. Sure the workers have all the numbers and emails they need to contact them but one thing they forgot human clients who don't have that privilege of info you have 0 for them. So if your worker didn't show up no calls no nothing and your trying to find out where they are your sorely mistaken. They don't have the time for you. They don't care all the extra money goes into their millions in profits who cares about the human clients. I wonder how they would feel if the tables were turned and it was said to them. The work ethic I was brought up on doesn't exist and your very lucky if you get anyone that wants to do their job. Now a days which explains it the work ethic is to do half the job get paid for the full job leaving those human clients in limbo sometimes dangerous situations. Being hard of hearing if my door is closed I don't hear them knock so they move on and I just forgot that is part of my life. Better not be hard of hearing. Nothing is made in allowance for anyone with that. Was left in limbo worker didn't come maybe knocked on my door didn't hear cause for half an hour I forgot the door was closed. I am not allowed to make a damn error. Bayshore needs to remember without those human clients you would. Not have those millions at all or a job. You hold their lives in your hand and you treat them like crap. You treat them that they are bothering you you are treating those clients you get millions in profits from you treat them like they are a bother. Your business model needs to change. Think about the clients not your almighty dollar, why don't you actually do something with those so called after hours co ordinators. They are getting paid to hold the phone to answer but leave it on a table don't think about it until the morning. Am I bothering your news or am I bothering a movie or whatever. I am sorry but I am only trying to ask for help. Oh god don't ask that. That is exactly what healthcare at home treats those people they take millions in from.
