  Most employees were good, but seemed to lack the ability to listen to my spouse’s complaints. Using a product that makes removing bandages much easier would have made his visits much less painful. I still resent this particular issue, as it made him suffer unnecessarily; It’s not like the money for this product came out of their own pockets. Actually makes my blood boil thinking back.

  If you or your family member needs help walk the other way when you are considering von. The workers office people as have meds 4 times a day yet kept scheduling my morning visit after 11:30 while the worker is here another worker is calling to give my lunch meds then another worker who calls at 3 for my supper meds all 3 doses in 3 hours. Schedulers think it's absolutely okay while I am suffering from so much meds in a short time calls from myself yo tell them to stop and they kept doing it. I got to be so sick to my stomach and was sleeping more than I was awake. I finally go through to the head person that came to see me 2 weeks after I started and she made them realize these meds are time specific. Since the snow has fallen workers walk in they are bundled up wet boots and they don't even bother to take their boots off or their puffy jackets while they give you care. Leaving salt snow mess in your floor and you get no help from them to wash it sweep the floor they mess they leave. Asking the office to tell them to leave your boots on hallway and beside door inside for jackets and she goes on that it's cold out they have to get into your building I didn't tell them anything about it then the office person said well where are they going to leave them. That is ridiculous as well as having a worker come and speak so condescending towards me and I made a statement that day that had nothing to do with anything. The worker followed right behind me to my bed as I thought was getting changed as was one of the things needed help with. I said same thing back to her and she seemed me out again turned around walked right out on me leaving me and my care hanging I thought it had to be reported to office waited for someone to come all night. No one came or called. Struggled to get a hold of supervisor as had video of her no one had a clue. Office didn't know lhin didn't know as worker didn't tell anyone as I was left hanging all night. Video even picked up her slamming the door on the way out. I showed the video no one at all knew she did that. Got paid for that visit. Was told she had to apologize to me when came back but that was way beneath her. I never ever received one at all. Definitely should have been reported to Ontario psw association.
