  All the low star reviews are true!! Management sucks, neither they care about their clients nor they care about their staff.

  After 3 years of terrible treatment I finally found these reviews. Apparently I am not alone. Except for a very few people, the workers are grim even surly and do the least they can possibly get away with. And they get away with a lot—my complaints never seem to be acted upon. One workers stood and watched me lie on the floor in agony after a fall—for 20 minutes while I wept begging him to call 911 for help for me. He stood. Watched. And only called when another worker showed up. I reported this abuse to Paramed. Of course I believed I’d never see him again. I was shocked when he waltzed in a few days later! I was terrified. I yelled at him to get out! Last night a worker defied my simple instructions & served me another inedible dinner. I’ve had malnutrition 2x as I throw away many inedible meals. And theft! All my jewellery stolen. My ebook, my iPad, a new in the box microwave oven, almost everything of value has been stripped away from me. I dare not acquire another ebook or iPad! I hide things but I can’t stand guard every minute. They ask me what needs to be done—even tho most have been coming for a year or more and it’s the same thing every single time! But I tell them clearly & politely & I’m always surprised later to see they didn’t do it.And they can’t wait to leave. Often they leave long before their alloted paid time is up like in 10 minutes in a 30 minute visit. There’s much more abuse from them…and Paramed management argues with me supporting the inept untrained work of their employees. I don’t entirely blame the workers for all of this: they know nothing of how to do their jobs. (I’ve taught over 20 how to use a can opener. They broke 5 can openers in one year. Teflon? I go to the kitchen and see a metal spoon scraping across a Teflon pan…) Paramed offers no support towards me, the client. Since this happens to me it’s happening to others. I’m exhausted trying to work with these “caregivers”. When I first got home care 15 years ago it was great. Excellent care. Smiling competent caregivers. I get 120 people thru my apt monthly—4 per day. Trying to educate them all wears me out. And when I get a few trained Paramed takes them away and sends more untrained people. Is this deliberate? They do know I am a professional trainer. They’re getting free training from me!? My tax dollar is being abused. So is everyone else’s. Since this was performed competently and well awhile back this sloppy unhealthy abusive treatment is unacceptable.

  Same opinion as the others have of this outfit. Totally unacceptable. Robophone service that keeps you waiting and no clear timetable for visits that might show up or not at all. They have good people providing good help to the community but the management is something else. Totally uncoordinated service between clients and nursing staff and the management..
