  If you love your family members do not put them here they will get abused. They will get neglected by far. The worst retirement home I have ever seen. My uncle was at this residence for almost 3 years. They stopped his visitors from coming. They literally threw out all his possessions, threw them down in the basement room to pretty much die, and then sends them off to a hospice doesn’t notify any of them of his family members or his emergency contacts that he has gone to a hospice to die alone and I don’t find out until a few months down the road that he has passed and then he had to do it all by himself alone, and this place did not notify the hospice and all that of any neck peer the body was put as nobody to claim it so here was cremated and then buried luckily with his parents, but this Home does everything that people do not wish to have so if you love your loved ones and you chose them and you actually wanna be there they don’t even deserve the one star that I had to put for them for them don’t put them here remove them

  Excellent home for my mom. From day one Roger and Cherie made it a comfortable transition for my mother and they eased our worries about having her move in to a home from her independent apartment. We were really worried my mother would hate it and struggle. But the excellent staff at the Cardinal Residence have far exceeded our expectations. My Mom is happy there and she regular tells me the staff are excellent. Every time I visit my mother there I feel extremely grateful she is in good hands. If I have any questions or issues the staff are always there to help. The nurses there are phenomenal and I know if I have any concerns they are always there to help. I know I can call Cherie or Roger directly and they are incredible and treat my mom with care and respect. Thanks God for this residence, it really saved my mom's life and eased our fears and worries. Also, the location is excellent for my mother. She was a nurse for over 30 years and she appreciates being close to the hospital and the building which was her former nursing school. Thank you to Roger, Cherie and all the staff!

  My mother was at Cardinal for 7 years and from day one she was treated like a queen. She loved her time there as the staff always made her smile. My family felt we could not have been any luckier to have a second family taking care of our mother. They encouraged her to participate in activities. Took time just to talk to her when stuck in her room during Covid. And kept us well informed. The Cardinal staff treats people like they are family. And contrary to the one bad review. The food is always fresh and if you didn’t like it the cook would make you something else.
