dad had hip replacement surgery in sept and needed help for a few months. care soul sends someone 4x a week for meals, meds, shower help etc. dad actually likes the lady which is saying something bc he complains about EVERYTHING. sometimes its a different person if the regular one is sick which throws dad off a bit but everyones been good. would prob recommend

We are extremely happy that Care Soul has been assisting my mum since around April/May. At first, my mother, who has dementia, would tell carers to leave the house because she was so adamant about them being there! Maria, on the other hand, is amazing. She never loses her cool, even when my mom asks her what day it is fifty times in a row. She manages every mood swing with kindness and patience. To be honest, we have no idea what we would do without her. Though a little pricey, it's far less expensive than a nursing home. It really is a lifesaver!

I live in Vancouver and needed help for my elderly parents in Toronto. Care Soul has been my lifeline. They coordinated the initial assessment, found caregivers who could help with both my mom's Alzheimer's and my dad's physical limitations, and keep me updated on everything. Their caregivers don't just go through the motions - they've noticed things like dad not eating well and mom's increasing confusion in the evenings, and worked with us to address these issues. They helped set up a medication management system, arranged for grab bars in the bathroom, and even helped my parents learn to video call me. The online portal lets me see visit notes and communicate with the care team easily. After two years with Care Soul, I can honestly say they've allowed my parents to age in place with dignity while giving me peace of mind from across the country. Their compassion extends to the whole family, and they've made an impossibly hard situation manageable.
