My mom recently moved to Chartwell Barton and it has been such a positive change for her. It really feels like a warm, homelike place, and we can already see that she seems much happier. When we were visiting and learning about the residence, Theresa was always so helpful, positive and friendly. She made the whole process feel much easier and welcoming. My mom has also told us how friendly the staff are and how kind and welcoming the other residents have been. It's reassuring to know she's in such a warm and supportive environment.

My husband and I booked a tour with Theresa, who was wonderful. This was a new experience for us and Theresa made us feel comfortable and welcomed at the Chartwell Barton. She was very knowledgeable and compassionate, also gave us information we were not aware of. You can tell the residents are enjoying themselves, and it really feels like home.

I’m pleased to share my experience with the Chartwell Barton in Newmarket. The staff was friendly, supportive and sympathetic when the move we had planned for our loved one didn’t work out as planned. Unfortunately my mother-in-law was not well when she moved in and was only there one night when she had to be transferred to hospital. The staff of Tim, Theresa and Shelley-Ann went to great lengths to make this turn of events as positive as it could be. Our family is most appreciative of their kindness and compassion. The Barton has a wonderful, homey atmosphere. We chose it because we knew our loved one would feel comfortable in this environment. We are so sorry her illness prevented her from experiencing how satisfying life in a retirement home can be! T
