The staff here are amazing. The maintenance team and Thomas is always busy making sure everything get done and everything is cleaned. Rejoice at reception is always there to answer any questions. My father get the care he needs.Moving my dad here was the best decision I have ever made.

We just moved my father-in-law Bill into Chartwell Emerald Hills. The staff here are AMAZING! They made a stressful move into a smooth and positive experience. Everyone is so welcoming and take the time to talk to you and get to know you. The facility is beautiful and there are so many things for him to do. My FIL is so happy here which a big relief to us. A big thank you to all the staff!

NEEDS BETTER STAFF ! To be completely honest, it is a nice building with many helpful and exceptional staff members. In fear of possibly getting kicked out of the Care Facility as they're not a lot available options on the market, my family member will remain anonymous Most staff seems friendly and helpful. It was very nice to see staff escort, my family member to dinner. And all the feedback I got from others that I spoke to there say te food is generally great. However, my family member is on the Dementia Ward and sadly she has at times gone multiple weeks without a shower. One specific nurse when asked to help dressing my family member by family visiting. Trying some new clothes responded and I quote" NO I CANNOT STAND HER AND HATE HER !This is absolutely unacceptable. The fact that a family member has to personally go there weekly to ensure she gets into a shower is objectively so wrong! The amount of money that is paid to the nursing home monthly, should allow especially on the Dementia Ward, nurses to be vetted to be caring, empathetic, helpful. When they figure out a way to work with a certain patient, document it and shared with other workers! It's very unfortunate because in most other areas the facility seems very good, but these ongoing experiences and lack of help from staff is just unacceptable. Cruel and goes against everything the place is built for .The care and compassionate help and consideration of our loved ones!
