We cannot thank the team at Chartwell Hilldale enough for helping us transition a family member into assisted living so seamlessly and efficiently! From the first phone call with Maaja (as soon as we heard her voice we knew we were in good hands) to the meetings with Catie and everyone we met in the hallways, outside and in the dining room. The care that has been shown to our family is better than we could have ever hoped and we will be forever grateful.

We have been in the process of moving my in-laws into Chartwell Hilldale and I cannot express enough gratitude to all the staff that we have met with and been involved with. From the manager, Ami Forbes, to the nurse practitioner Catie Cassleman and lastly, Maaja Sepa - all of you have been friendly, compassionate and understanding of this next chapter and you have provided guidance and helpful information along the way. Especially, Maaja - you have gone above and beyond and have made yourself readily available to answer any questions. You have been a bright spot throughout this transition, from the moment we met you when you gave us the grand tour, you didn't overwhelm us with more information than what was needed and you did all of this with a sunny disposition. Seeing the residents interact with you and your genuine good rapport with them put us at ease that this is a good place to grow older in. We look forward to this new place to call home.

We had a comprehensive tour of Hilldale earlier this week, as we begin to explore our options for future needs, and were very impressed by the home and its facilities. Maaja, who led the tour and met with us to answer all our questions, has incredible energy and compassion, and clearly cares about all the residents there. While our family member is still able to live independently at home, what Hilldale offers is impressive and will certainly be considered when needed.
