We have had a fabulous experience with my Mother in Law at Southwind Retirement Residence this past year. The facility is always so clean and smells lovely. The staff always goes the extra mile to make sure all is well with the residents. There are many areas to have quiet time or enjoy card games etc with family who visits. The food is great and the residents share a table with the same people for conversation and consistency. We would highly recommend Southwinds

Southwind's kind, caring, and empathetic staff know the needs of every resident. Visitors and residents are greeted in the hallways and at meals on a first name basis and with a smile. Meals are served promptly with knowledge of each resident's needs. There is a nice variety of dishes served that are healthy and cover all food categories. There are always eyes on the residents to ensure no one is left out of an activity or has forgotten anything, and the staff always maintain a safe and positive environment. Communication with the family is also excellent. Individual medications are administered promptly and a time that is best for the resident. Rooms are cleaned very well and on a regular basis. The building itself is well-maintained with new furnishings, areas repainted, and items promptly repaired/replaced when necessary. Questions are quickly answered. Our family is very pleased with Chartwell Southwind.

We are so happy to see our mom settled in to her new home,Which is southwind.. we were worried at first that she would be depressed because she had to leave her house and garden but she now calls this place her home.. Maria has an active life now at southwind , with her morning breakfast. Exercises, lunch time, rosary, and supper. Oh and bingo !!! The staff is so kind and caring.. She has made a lot of friends too. Coffee time .. We are so thankful that she is in a place where we don’t worry so much about her. Sincerely Maria’s family 💕
