My Family agreed to put my Mom in this facility. My Mom walked in and was healthy. The first little bit my Mom was healthy and Happy. The people who are paid to watch her and take care of her. Ended up not watching her and apparently my Mother who never fell apparently fell breaking both her Shoulders. This will be my Mothers Demise as she is bed redden for the rest of her life. My mom is still alive but we don’t know her condition as we are not aloud to see her due to COVID-19. When I called to ask how my Mom was the just said she is eating and sleeping. I’m concerned about my Mom with regards to the findings lately publishes about Nursing homes and abuse. I pray my Mom is being treated humane.

I went with my friend to visit her grandma and was appalled by how the head staff treated the other staff and residents. The managers were so rude and disrespectful towards some of the aides and PSWs. They had so much attitude towards them even though they weren’t the ones actually caring for the residents at this awful facility. The managers also kept pulling away some of the staff for “work related” meetings while they were actively providing care. And when the staff came back, they told my friend’s grandma that they got called out because the staff decided to stand up to the managers’ horrible behaviour. Since when was it a bad thing to call out your supervisors for not…supervising? Like that is literally your job.

My grandfather was placed here a few months ago without his will or consent. He was abandoned by my halfbrother at lanark heights I have the power of attorney but nobody has honored his last will or POA. So throughout this ordeal were still trying to have him returned home because this is his worst night mare to be placed in a long-term care home But least to say medical staff,food and sanitary conditions of this location are incredible. 5star standards. great local amenities I'd recommend to others if looking for proper long-term care. Grateful for the hardworking gals& guys at this location they definitely do go above and beyond caring for our loved one
