Our Mom has been at Barclay House since 2021. It was "okay" then. Since Emma took over as Director it has steadily improved. Now Emma along with Lora, Brooke, and others have made it great. Darling Lianne and the other care staff really do care. Mom is thriving at 92, with meaningful friendships and enjoyable activities such as live music and yoga. We are grateful to Emma and all the staff for creating a warm feeling of genuine community at Barclay House.

The Barkley House is truly a wonderful place! My Mom has been living there since September and from the moment you walk through the doors, you can feel the warmth and kindness of the staff. Natalie and Lora along with every member of the team goes above and beyond to make residents feel comfortable, respected, and cared for. They are always friendly, patient, and incredibly helpful, it’s clear they genuinely love what they do. The building itself is beautiful, bright, and exceptionally clean. Everything feels welcoming and well-maintained, creating a true sense of home for everyone who lives there. It’s comforting to know that residents are not only safe but surrounded by such thoughtful, compassionate people in such a lovely environment. I can’t say enough good things about The Barkley House, it’s a special place filled with special people!

I can’t say enough good things about Barclay House Retirement Residence. It’s such a beautiful home with the warmest, most welcoming atmosphere. I provide footcare to the residents here, and every time I walk through the doors, I’m greeted with kindness. The staff here truly go above and beyond — not just for the residents. You can tell how much they genuinely care about the residents who call it home. If you’re looking for a retirement home for your loved one, I highly recommend taking a tour and talking to the staff. It’s such a special place.
