My father in law has lived here for 5 years. Staff are very friendly, decent activities but the food is horrible. I have eaten with him and it's really bad food and has been for years. Can they not feed seniors decent food? My aunt was at Empire and the food was much better there.

My parents live at Marina Point for years now, initially it was good although the price they pay is very high and they are continuously raising prices. The pandemic did not help things as seniors were mostly alone. For the past five years they have been living in a construction zone and having to put up with noise. They are tenants there so they cook their own meals. Many of the residents complain about the food they can’t even eat and have family members bring in food for them, definitely not the nutritional food elderly people require for a proper diet. The residents are complaining about the food and other things but they say nobody listens. Many say they would move out but there is a shortage of housing for seniors here. It is really too bad the way this facility is being ran. Something needs to be done!

Horrible my Dad moved there a year ago and they have told us many untruths about his new apartment. He moved in yesterday in yesterday and it had not been cleaned. No TV or internet for possibly a month. Only 1 elevator working. No properly sized sheets for his bed. He has queen but top sheet was twin. Was told that's all they had, laundry was behind. Staff tells family what they want to hear and not the truth always.
