My dad was turned away..at first we were encouraged to bring him and felt supported by a very nice individual named Beverly...but a woman there named Jacqueline I think told me someone like him cannot go there because "it's not that kind of senior centre"...so if your parent or senior requires some extra patience or has a little disability you cannot attend this centre. I've thought about it for awhile and I think maybe this is discrimination?

Lots of activities offered here from art to billiards to fitness classes. People are really welcoming

The senior centre is a hive of activity. Whatever your interest, it is probably available - fitness classes, volleyball, euchre, mah jongg, library, pool table, ping pong, organized trips, book club and many more activities. A wonderful place to meet new people.
