Such a relief to find respite care on short notice. Mom was at the Markham Club for 3 days last summer and we were very happy with the tender loving care she received from ALL the staff members. So when we felt we needed a longer break this year, we booked her for a month. Since her return back to our home, we have noticed that she is quite a bit more engaged with daily activities. She has even gotten dressed on her own a few times, something that seemed she was no longer able to do. She's quite curious about her 'new' surroundings even though she's been here with us for 4 years! She walks around a lot more than she had been for the past year I had a hard time getting her to leave the yoga activity when I came to bring her home. She doesn't remember her stay at Memory & Company but it does seem it was a good month for her (and us).

We have been really impressed with Memory and Companies approach and support for my father in law. It’s great to know that he’s somewhere he feels safe, engaged and dignified. The inside is gorgeous and well-maintained. The staff are lovely, kind and welcoming. My only complaint is the complication of their booking process. It would be nice if there was a system one could log into and book based on availability, rather than sending emails hoping for dates.

I left my mom here for a week while we went on vacation. My mom has Alzheimer’s and I was worried about her adjusting. This place was amazing set up like a hotel, sent me updates on how she was doing with pictures. I was not worried once at all on my trip about her comfort and care. When I picked her up she said she was very happy there. Will definitely send her here again when needed.
