Allen at ComforCare was able to find a Cantonese overnight helper for us on the same day I had made the request, as my mom with Alzheimer's had a back surgery done. Allen has integrity in what he could offer us. He is receptive with feedback, listens patiently to our concerns, and is accessible whenever we have questions. The company seems reasonable, organized and efficient. The invoices are clear and the insurance company had no problems with the reimbursement process. The same PSW ladies were scheduled to take turns spending overnight to care for my mom, at the hospital and then at home. That was a tremendous help, as there was consistency in caring for my dementia mom, unlike the PSWs from the government. They were caring and they understood my mom's conditions, and tasks were performed as told. No extra stress for me. A couple of them even voluntarily provided us detailed timed log of the happenings during their overnight shifts, including how capable each time my mom went to the washroom, which we greatly appreciated, Allen would also send me details of any notes from the PSW, if any. One lady was not suitable for us and immediately, another lady was sent for the next night. I would like to thank Shyla, Athena, Miranda, Carol. I'm glad I got the referral of ComforCare. Allen and his team didn't create more issues for me, but rather, they helped my mother recover during those critical times and relieved my stress as a caregiver, back then in October 2023. My mother has recovered well.

I would recommend this to anyone with seniors who need support on their daily lives. Allen and his team acted fast and provided immediate support to my mom when we were very desperate. The PSW they assigned to my mom was very professional and caring.
