River Park Gardens is one of the good personal care homes in Winnipeg. The facility is very nice, clean, and well maintained. The staff are friendly, caring, and welcoming. The location is also very convenient, with easy access to Winnipeg bus services and a shopping centre within walking distance. Overall, it seems like a comfortable and convenient place for long-term care.

From what I’ve seen,,, This is one of the more progressive care homes. They have a breadth of programs and entertainment that include something for everyone. Kudos Staff is attentive, caring and gentle. The facility is new, clean, has a nice chapel and each wing has an elegant dining and lounge area. The only cons I can think of: 1) The nursing station is central and not really near the residents however they bring the residents out to sit near the station. 2) At least a 2 year wait list because I believe it has only 80 resident capacity.
