John Palliative Care Foundation in partnership with Vancouver Coastal Health Authority, Providence Health Care and UBC. The facility provides palliative care through health authority doctors, nurses and other multi-disciplinary professionals.
Situated amongst scenic views of the UBC campus and across from the UBC Botanical Garden, the hospice offers a home-like setting with 14 en-suite bedrooms, dining room, family room, living room, quiet room, and dedicated access to the Botanical Garden.
UBC's Faculty of Medicine also has dedicated space in the facility for research into best practices for end-of-life care and training of health professionals.

A very special place for our family. They took incredible care of our family member, with upmost respect and inquisitiveness to who the person is (ie. not just a patient). We are forever grateful, and will always remember.

This hospice is nice with very kind hearted staff. Josephine in particular was extremely compassionate with my grandmother. I'm glad she was there with my family when my grandmother passed. I will forever be grateful.

Beautiful, peaceful facility with kind, caring & empathic staff. We especially enjoyed the nursing care of Norberto, what an awesome person. Thank you to everyone.
