Went for a visit to Stamford Estates, and took another senior with me. Was amazed at the size of the units and many with balconies for fresh air, a coffee shop, a drug store, and a movie theater room. The outside had many seating options for fresh air, but the highlight of our visit was the amazing food at the outdoor BBQ on one of my visits. Returning again we experienced a tour and noticed the service of all the staff throughout the building were all social and welcoming, and always available, from the coffee shop and the office, to the full restaurant quality dining experience with amazing full service menus. There are meals with all healthy choices with something to meet everyone's tastes. The environment is clean and always smells nice and is very inviting. I highly recommend it for a friend or family member.

Stay away…food horrible, staff use the “independent living” thing to keep a real hands-off approach. When I would visit my parents at meal times I was not allowed to sit with them…even though I was visiting from New Zealand. Residents had to sit at their tables for up to 30 minutes at lunch before being served their food. I once emailed the manager and asked him to print off an attachment and give it to my dad. The manager replied “we don’t normally do these requests”… my poor dad was 86 years old with anxiety, depression and dementia. One day my poor dad needed help with his toilet. The management told him he could grab a plunger from the third floor and sort it out himself. When I would visit my parents and do their laundry I was not allowed to use the washer and dryer between 8 and 4pm. One day after dinner I saw an old physically frail wheelchair bound lady struggle with getting back to her room. The staff around did absolutely nothing to help. I moved my parents out to chartwell orchards in Vineland and they were much happier with far greater levels of help and care. STAY AWAY FROM STAMFORD ESTATES

Very nice facility with wonderful friendly staff who make you feel very welcome. Kevin the Chef made us a wonderful luncheon . Ryan was very accommodating and helpful and Sherri who we meant on entering the residence was very friendly and showed us where our group was going to be for lunch. Overall I would definitely give everything a 10 out of 10. Thanks to all the staff for a fun day and I am happy my friend Marnie O'Kell lives in such a lovely place with very caring staff.
