My husband was a resident at the Village at St Clair for 10 months. Placing a loved one in long term care is extremely difficult and stressful. I was there everyday and I soon became confident that he was in very good hands. I found the staff consistently to be very warm and supportive. They try hard to provide the very best care giving personal attention to the individual. I could see that this was more than a job to them and the wellbeing of my husband and myself was important to them. They communicate with caregivers on a regular basis as needed. The rooms are spacious and families are encouraged to make their spaces feel like home. The staff work hard to accommodate family time with large common areas so that families can share meals. I do not hesitate to recommend this home if you are in need.

Our family feels blessed that our mother is living in such a loving and caring environment. We have never had a negative thought about the village. Very grateful to the staff and management. Above and beyond! That’s the village.

Disgusting behavior for a nursing home to ban a son from visiting his mother. The nursing home management should be ashamed and lose their jobs. Why would I risk putting my parents in this facility if the facility could ban me from seeing them?
