We’ve used Babysitting Angels on more than one occasion in the Toronto area, and every sitter we’ve encountered has been wonderful. Our daughter connected with them immediately, and we’ve felt completely comfortable leaving her in their care. A special shout-out to Rena (Serena) and Joy for providing exceptional care. They were fantastic with our daughter and made the experience easy and stress-free for us. I would highly recommend Babysitting Angels to anyone looking for reliable, affordable, and caring childcare in the Toronto area! Note: We stay in hotels when visiting Toronto and that was not an issue with this service. Scheduling can sometimes be challenging, so we recommend allowing additional time for follow-up and coordination with the admin office.

Att: Please be aware of this company. This is my experience. I’ve applied for a Psw position. Sharef did my interview and the next day he was no longer working at Visiting Angels. I continuously calling for updates about my application and I keep getting a runaround after four months. Bucala offers me 20.00 an hour with over 25 years of experience. I declined the offer. They’re unprofessional, unreliable, dishonest and looking for SLAVE Psw to commit to cleaning, shopping, cooking, washing, medication, taking clients to appointments and more. It’s not worth it. Psw’s stand up to companies like this for what you worth as a Psw.

I cannot stress enough, please, do not use this service for infant children. We hired Visiting Angels to have our infant son cared for (with family present) on our wedding day during all the commotion. It ended up being our biggest mistake on our wedding day. The thing that upsets me the most is we requested (and said we would pay for it) a meeting ahead of time with our visiting angel to ensure the personality was suited for our big day. We were told upon booking this would be possible. One week prior to our wedding, where we still didn’t have confirmation on the details, we were told, vehemently, and almost rudely, that we would not be able to speak to our sitter ahead of time. This should have been my red flag. I should, as an intelligent woman, realized this was not a good idea to move forward with. However, I put my trust in VA, and severely regretted it. It should be noted, I wrote out a detailed itinerary and booklet on where and how to be with my son throughout the day, including where and when and why. Every minute was meticulously planned, all we needed was someone to watch over him on our special day while we maintained a typical wedding. Among the situations our “angel” caused on our wedding day, here are a few highlights: 1. Our “angel” kept asking my family (in wedding attire) to help her with basic tasks (feeding, changing, burping) and didn’t know how to remove his diaper shirt and change him. At one point she laid him on a table and walked away, he rolled off and was thankfully caught by a family member who was helping us manage our receiving line at the time. 2. When we went to go walk with our son into our reception and grabbed him from our “Angel,” he had feces all over his face. How? We have no idea. Assuming she had zero clue how to properly change or clean a diaper. 3. Our “Angel” kept climbing on stage to tap me on the shoulder IN THE MIDDLE OF SPEECHES and whisper something completely irrelevant and sometimes incoherent. 4. At one point our “Angel” was just wandering around (with my sleeping son) onto the dancefloor during the mom and son dance, which was JUST for the groom and mother of the groom, and needed to be directed back off the floor. 5. One time she came into the bathroom, where none of us were, and my best friend who was fixing her make up said our “Angel” just screamed “THE BABY IS SLEEPING” and then slammed the door. 6. When we were preparing to walk down the aisle she joined into the line and we had to explain that she was not going to walk down the aisle with us AT OUR WEDDING. 7. Our Angel digressed as the evening progressed, to the point where family members had to take over. When they did they discovered feces on his face, again. These are mere bullet points in a day of absolute shock. Our “Angel” was the talk of our wedding due to their completely erratic and bizarre behaviour. I wish I had been granted the chance to meet this human ahead of time, as I had originally been told I could. Then we would have dropped them entirely and maintained the day with family care. Absolutely do not use this service. If I could give zero stars I would. What a huge disaster.
