I am writing a new review in regards to the changes at Waterdown Manor. The new management has made a significant change in the environment at the home. The cleanliness and care for residents have improved dramatically. I am very happy with the support for my Dad as he has taken a turn for the worst. They are working hard to make improvements to the main areas of the home as well as the individual rooms. I thank all the staff for their hard work and consistent care for the residents.

Came to visit my grandparent for the first time at night and to my surprise the parking lot was empty at 9pm and there were no workers at all in the entire facility. That is scary the simple fact that this is a retirement home with individuals who need care 24/7 and at any given moment could require immediate medical attention…. This is in no shape or form acceptable and I’m starting to question the legitimacy of this establishment. To anybody considering bringing their loved one here, think twice. I’m currently going to look at other solutions and talk with my family member who coordinated this setting In the first place. This is unfair to the individuals and family members trusting in water down manor.

My family took time finding the perfect place for my mother to live her golden years. We went with Waterdown Manor and we are very happy with our decision. The staff are wonderful with our mother and the atmosphere of the manor is very friendly. I would recommend it to anyone.
