Very grateful we had a sensor on our sump pump. The massive amount of rain caused a backup of water. It was working before the storm as we tested it to be safe. Apparently the motor died sometime during the night and if it wasn't for the alarm we would not have caught it in time. Tried to fix it ourselves but it was dead so needed an emergency call to a plumber to replace it. Thanks for the swift response from Liberty to let us know what was going on. Saved us thousands in damages.

I had to reboot my 3 cameras as we had just put in a new modem and they didn't like the new setup. I called technical support and the lady there walked me through the steps. It took about 50 minutes as we had to recalibrate 2 of the 3 cameras. She was very pleasant and took her time with me. All I can say is the she was very professional and very patient with me. Thanks to her it's all up and running again. She was very very good. Thank you Thank you Thank you. Phil M

Liberty Security, also known as Gardaworld, placed our account with a collection agency after we refused to pay for a doorbell camera that was supposed to be included in our package. Despite numerous attempts over a period of approximately two years, they failed to resolve this issue or honor what was clearly represented to us at the time of sale. We have retained copies of our communications with their sales department, including text messages, which support our position. In addition to this, the company cancelled our service without providing any notice. This left our home and family without security coverage, which is unacceptable. Customers deserve to feel safe in their own homes and should never be left in an unsafe position without being properly advised in advance or given the opportunity to make alternative arrangements. What is particularly concerning is that the company continued to collect monthly payments from our credit card while the service had been cancelled without our knowledge. Not being aware that our security service was no longer active created a serious safety risk for our household. This completely defeats the purpose of engaging a security company in the first place and is, in our view, unsafe for consumers. It is our position that the company is in breach of the agreement. We did not receive the services as promised from the outset, and as such, we believe a full refund is warranted. Had we known that a doorbell camera would not be provided as part of the package—as it had been with our previous provider—we would have selected a different security company. We are in the process of filing complaints with Service Alberta and the appropriate governing bodies regarding this conduct. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend this company. Consumers deserve to be treated honestly, fairly, and respectfully, with their safety placed first.
