Recently bought a new machine and mask. Was told there were 2 options and older model plus mask would be $200 out of pocket after insurance coverage and second option $400 after insurance with better warranty. After deliberating, I said I would go for the $400 option. After being told it would take 30 to 45 minutes to prepare my order, I left and came back later. Once I sat down to review the product and do the transaction, I was told, "sorry I miscalculated the amount its actually $770". $370 more than I was quoted and I was told due to the error they would waive the price on the mask that was already included in the price!!! What???? Waive the price of the mask that was included in the quote which is now $370 more???? She did give me the option to cancel my order or go to the cheaper model but I paid anyway. My bad I guess. But the experience felt unproffesional, put me in a very awkward situation and perhaps the worst part, tried to minimize my reaction by generously telling me they were waiving the price on the mask!!! I am not stupid. Be very careful when finalizing pricing here and suggest you get the details in writing!

We received excellent service from Edward M. when my husband urgently needed respiratory equipment. Edward was responsive & quick to get us what we needed and, most importantly, so kind and caring when our family needed it most.

Ever since Warren left VitalAire my experience dealing with VA staff has been abysmal, particularly with the front desk staff member. She is unknowledgeable nor does she understand the importance of requiring equipment in a timely manner, and that people’s time is limited and valuable. She fails to exhibit critical thinking skills, e.g., when I provided my name she was incapable of locating my file and machine requirements: instead asking me the name and the serial number of my equipment and supplies. Additionally she failed twice to be prepared despite my calling several times to confirm my items were ready for pick up. Once I had arrived and she couldn’t locate what she claimed she’d ‘set aside’, and another time she left the office for lunch without readying my order for pick up despite me specifying when I’d arrive. I’ve experienced the same as others: no return phone calls, lengthy and unnecessary waiting for staff to get organized. I’m going elsewhere for my needs and DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS. To other past clients who've found better vendors, kindly please pass on recommendations.
