Hear Canada has solved / mitigated my hearing issues, specifically tinnitus, beyond my expectations. I can now carry out my life in relative peace and comfort thanks to the incredible expertise and customer service of Hear Canada staff. I give my sincere thanks to ANDREW, MISSY and ALL their staff. They provide a welcoming and friendly environment then add competent, professional service and expertise. I have been back several times to top up supplies and get a refresher on how to program my hearing aids through my cell phone. Every visit has been a pleasant, positive and fruitful experience. So, to Hear Canada Lakeside Terrace....5 STARS ALL THE WAY....thanks so much and Missy, Andrew and all the staff....keep up the great work! Bill Harrison

I was absolutley shocked at the sexism in this business. I visited for my 82 year old family member, who is my neighboors uncle. The women at the front desk were incomfotably friendly. The larger lady wouldnt stop staring at me and made uncomfortable comments about joining me the in washroom. I had to wait to get to Timmie. This trip occured after my best friends uncle, who is a shy quiet gentleman had 3 issues booking an "assessment". He initially called and was unable to have his questions properly answerd, and across the past month has physically visited twice and told to come back when he knows what he wants. It is a terrifying ordeal to face the negative side of aging and to be treaed so unprofessionally. My friends elderly uncle desperatly needed a medical device, is understandably challenged when trying to communicate his wants. The recent reviews all seem to follow the same patter, praise the two front desk woman they are the best thing that has ever happened to a business. Unless you are gentleman who gets confused easily. Missy and Mel should treat all customers equally, and use some professionalism when dealing with woman. I was dressed in business attire and did not appreciate the amount of time they wasted trying to charm me and assist me in the washroom to be more comfortable. Myself and my friends uncle have since looked elsewhere and are absolutley appauled at the difference we noticed between myself, a professional woman in her 40's and a sweet kind elderly man who actually did need the extra care they were so enthusiastic to push on me. HearNow you have horrible reviews on the job sites, when you cant pay a secretary more then 40k, especially considering 60k is needed to survive, I understand why you have trouble treating every customer like they are your best. I have never felt so objectified since I was in my 20's and for it to come from other woman who should know what its like to struggle in this world just appals me. 1 start for trying to help me in the washroom, should be 0 because I didnt need help, my eldery friends uncle got nothing!

Without going into a lot of detail, I want to give a huge thank-you to Missy, Victoria and Andrew at the HearingCanada Centre on Lakeside Terrace in Barrie. Visiting from out of town, I noticed my elderly father's hearing aid had stopped working, making communication virtually impossible. After an initial panicked call to HearCanada and speaking to Missy, she took over and with the added help of Victoria and Andrew, they absolutely exceeded my expectations. I couldn't be happier. Thank-you all, so much.
