I am very disappointed with my experience at The Ear & Audiology Clinic in Scarborough. I went there on Saturday hoping to get help for my tinnitus. I informed the audiologist that I had already completed a hearing assessment at another clinic last year and explained my situation. Despite this, I was given the exact same hearing test again. To my surprise, I was charged $95 for the hearing assessment, even though my previous hearing test had been covered by OHIP. I was not expecting to pay for what seemed to be a repeat of the same assessment with the same results. Unfortunately, I left without receiving any meaningful help or new recommendations for managing my tinnitus. The visit did not provide any additional value beyond repeating a test I had already completed, and I feel the cost was not justified. Based on my experience, I would like a refund for the $95 charge, as I do not believe I received the service or assistance I was seeking.

I had an issue with my left ear due to a blockage caused by earwax. My family doctor referred me to an ENT specialist, but the earliest appointment available was 7 weeks away. Thankfully, I found this clinic instead. The experience was excellent. The audiologist was professional, knowledgeable, and knew exactly what to do. They removed the earwax safely and efficiently, and the whole procedure took less than 5 minutes. My hearing was restored immediately. I highly recommend this place to anyone dealing with earwax blockage or similar ear issues. Great service and a huge relief!
